The Integration Foundation was founded in December 2019 by the Right Honourable Keith Vaz and its Patron is the American Civil Rights icon the Reverend Jesse Jackson. From the very start, our aim has been to deliver on the following purposes:

Diversity contra quality
“Diversity is our strength” is a slogan that has been repeated to the point of being a cliché. Nowadays, even Sadiq Khan has the self-awareness to put the sentiment into different words.
Of course, there can be truth to it. Institutions, for example, should contain a variety of perspectives if they are going to be dynamic and accountable. But it is not something which is necessarily true.
